Mary Bonina (author of the novel My Way Home and My Fathers Eyes: A Memoir) and Mia Millefoglie (author of Daughters of Stone and Ride: Loss and Resilience in a Fisherman's Family) discuss common themes, different challenges in writing the novel vs. a non-fiction/memoir, and the importance of the sense of place in their work (Mary's book set mainly in Cambridge and Boston, and Mia's in the Cape and fishing community of Gloucester). Each of them will read short excerpts from their new books. This public event is free to all.
